Objective: To correctly arrange the mountain-like food offerings on a banana leaf for ritual worship.
Prerequisites/Requirements: Rectangular tray, banana leaf, 9 Puris, betel leaves, Suji Halwa, sweet rice, cut fruits (purple/red grapes, apple, pear), mithai (sweets), boiled channa dal, elachie, clove, black/brown betel nut, Sindhoor, tikli, and red glass bangles.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Lay the banana leaf as a base on the tray.
- Place 9 sets of Puris on the leaf.
- Position a betel leaf on top of each set of Puris, ensuring the tips face toward the worshipper (do not break the tips).
- Place 1/4 teaspoon of Halwa and 1/4 teaspoon of sweet rice on the betel leaf.
- Add 3 kinds of cut fruits and 3 kinds of mithai.
- Add 3 grains of boiled channa dal, 1 elachie, 1 clove, and 1 betel nut.
- Apply a red Sindhoor dot, a tikli, and place 2 red bangles next to the food sets.
- Arrange the offerings to be “mountain-like high.
